Digging into the Archives

Disregard the dates on these photos. Not only were these not taken in 2003, they were also not taken recently. The approximate date on these is May of 2009.
Just a reminder that you can click on the photos to enlarge them. There may be some seals, sealions, or whales lurking about...
Enjoy!

Juneau's Sunny Cove. Aptly named judging from this beautiful day WAY back in 2009. Still no camera cord, obviously.

A huge, giant sunstar. There's a close up shot next, but I wanted to show you (and remember myself) how the kids just stood there, mesmerized for several quiet minutes...

He was a lot more purple and salmon-pinkish-orangish in "person", but still neat to see all the detail.

Kids, sun, beach, low tide, fresh stream, sticks, rocks, grass, sand, and dirt. No assembly required.

Happy sisters! You can see how old this pictures is... Amelia was just two, and still looking like a baby. She'll be four in April!

AMAZING! Almost every day the girls and I stop in our tracks looking at the incredible place that we live and say out loud, "Look at what God created today!"

Thank You God for Your creative beauty and majesty!

"Finally, some shade!" Seriously, that is exactly what the girls are saying here.... they are definitely fit for SE AK where we get so little sun and light. Took some video of them on the deck this week in their swimsuits. It was only 44 degrees, but it was sunny! Crazy Alaskans!
Here comes February, ready or not!
