Zippity

My, the school year is just zipping by! We've been busy with swimming and skating lessons, lots of field trips, math and more math, and of course crafts. We have two girls who just love glue, scissors, markers, glitter, paper of any sort, and especially yarn and fabrics. Lots of holiday crafting is happening around here these days.

In honor of our first measurable, non-melting snow of the year, we are going camping. Luckily, we rented a cabin, but first we have to get there and that is what we are working out right now. The "easy" hike is 3.75 miles one way, and the "rigorous" hike is shorter, but much more challenging and we've been told our girls would likely not be able to make it in.

So.

We'll let you know how it works out.

In other news, I'm still as anti-plastic as ever. Here's some food for thought as I sign off for now...

Oh wait... plus, I broke my toe on Friday and as of last Wednesday, I am violently allergic to some food but I'm not sure what.
